Eduroam at Norwegian airports

From July UNINETT, in cooperation with Avinor, will offer eduroam at 19 airports across the country, from Kristiansand in the south, to Svalbard in the far north. All the major airports are included.

Trial for free

The offer is part of a trial carried out by UNINETT and Avinor , aiming at making this a permanent service. In the trial period, use of the service is free for eduroam users and institutions. The success of the trial will decide whether this will be turned into a permament service.

eduroam = easy access

Eduroam (education roaming) is an international, secure system for wireless Internet access, based on the same username and password regardless of where the user happens to be.Most higher education institutions in Norway offer eduroam, and the same goes for higher education in most of Europe.
