Description of the service:

Uninett real-time is based on the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), and comprises four main stages:

2. Coordinating telephone calls to and from the telephone network through a central, redundant SIP trunk against the sector’s joint telephony supplier

3.SIP-based common services, including telephone conferencing

4.An assistance and instruction service for SIP and VoIP solutions on campus

Throughout the first stage, Uninett real-time maintains a particular focus on telephony, as this is the most important and most widely used service.
